Conor McGregor: I Would beat Floyd in a Rematch

Conor Mcgregor I would Beat Floyd in a rematch

Conor McGregor lost against Floyd Mayweather but what he didn’t lost is the hope. We’re not sure if that is hope in a victory or in money but the hope is there.

Caroline Pearce did an interview with Conor  at “An Evening with Conor McGregor” in Glasgow, Scotland and we’re bringing you quotes by MMA Fighting where Conor is saying that he would beat McGregor in a rematch.

“What’s sickening me is that the little motherf**ker is retired now. I know if I went another go with him, under boxing rules, I’d get that win. I know that. I know by the feeling of him in the first fight. He had to change his whole approach. He fought completely different than he ever fought. He couldn’t figure out what I was doing early on.”

“With the lessons I learned from that first fight, if I had another go now, I’d get him. At the same time, he’s 50-0 and he’s getting on, I’m not gonna start calling him out. I’m happy to see a fighter (do well).”

“It’s a dangerous game we’re in. I’m not gonna start calling him out. I’ll sit back and wait and I’ll fight,” he said. Let’s see how he handles this round of money. I might get the phone call again and we may do it again. Originally, he said an MMA fight next. He was talking about an MMA fight next.”

“That’s what he said before the fight. So, what’s he going to do? Does he want another fight? In my head I’m thinking, get one of these boxing guys to come over into my world now.”

McGregor even went so far that he said he “sold himself” to fight to that limited ruleset.

“I got beat. I got beat under that ruleset. I’m not going to start giving off like that. I accepted the rules, and I was beat in the rules.”

“Make no mistake, every time I took his back in that f**king fight and the referee separated us, in a real fight it’s done right there. That was the part for me that I had to get over the most.”

“I almost feel like I sold myself out. I put so many skills and so many shots in my back pocket for a paycheck and big event and that’s been messing with my head a little bit.”

Super Effective Way to Fight Against Multiple Attackers in Close Quarters

uper Effective Way to Fight Against Multiple Attackers in Close Quarters

Fighting against multiple attackers is never a smart idea and you have to be very well prepared for it and you definitely need some strategy if you really want to fight against more guys.

Check what this guy did and you can see that he clearly had good strategy. He was literally fighting against one guy all the time because he made them unable to attack him all at once.

The only problem I see here is that he could walk away without hurting anyone and maybe he have problems with aggression control and that put him in a situation that he is actually attacker and not a victim, but we don’t know that for sure. What do you think?

“Hold on, I’m talking, brother,” Ferguson told Werdum.

Immediately after that Werdum fired to Tony saying, “f*ck you” and he repeated it for several times.

Ferguson replied: “When I’m talking you shut your mouth,”

Werdum responded with: “Shut your mouth, you f*cking f****t, Don’t talk to me like that, that’s not how it works. You can talk like that to your division but with me you can’t talk like that f****t.”

How To Prepare For Your First BJJ Tournament and Maximize Your Chances of Winning it

How To Prepare For Your First BJJ Tournament and Maximize Your Chances of Winning it

Your first competition match is around the corner and you have to be ready for it. Unfortunately you are never ready. Even if you’re ready you are never ready enough in your head to go through all of it just like that. One thing that I found out when I first stepped on competition mat is that sparing in your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class or any grappling class did not completely prepare me for my first competition. There’s a lot of other factors involved in your first competition experience like huge amounts of adrenaline, fear of the unknown etc. But it’s something everyone competing went through so why wouldn’t you. It’s nothing that scary anyway. It’s all in your head. So here are some quick tips on how to be prepared for your first Grappling Tournament and how you should maximize your chances of winning your first tournament.

1. Strategy – If you have a specific technique that allows you to get an advantage over your opponent, then you should make it the focal point of your defense. Keep in mind that you will not be practicing BJJ in your academy anymore, and will be competing against the best in your league. By designing a strategy, you will be able to keep your mind focused at all times. Think of it as a chess play, if you have the plays in your mind, then you will be able to act faster. And remember one thing, keep it simple for the first time. You have to “find yourself” in this new environment.

2. Visualization – Physical practice will take you so far, there will come a point where you will be required to visually play each move in your head, and plan a counter defense. This will help set your brain on alert, and you will be able to react faster, as your body will start to perceive your action as a reflex. In addition, you will be able to move around faster and respond in a more effective and efficient way. Try to think down to the last detail, as it will help you factor in all the important elements.

3. Confidence – Just because you are walking into your first tournament, does not mean you should lack in confidence in any way. Which is why try to practice a routine, that will help you calm down your nerves, allowing you to appear more confident. Keep in mind that appearance will get your halfway through. So keep your head up, and look your opponent in the eye. Once you start to believe in yourself, you will be able to offer your best performance.

4. Nutrition – Start practicing a healthy diet weeks before the tournament starts, as this will allow you to adjust your body accordingly. Keep in mind that you need to eat according to your training needs. In addition, keep yourself hydrated throughout the training process, and on the day of the tournament. Try to stick to water, and completely avoid drinks that contain a high dose of sugar. As they will bring down your energy levels, and make you feel worn out. Try to eat Granola bars, bananas, and other energy bars to keep your body fueled.

5. Relaxation – Try to rest and relax a day before the tournament, so your body has recovered from the back to back training sessions. Try to go out and have some fun, without thinking too much about the tournament. Keep in mind that if you are well rested, you will be able to perform better. As you have trained hard there is nothing else you can do at this point. So clear your head from all BJJ thoughts, and try to spend a low-key day with your family and friends.

Outsized and Tiny Jiu-Jitsu World Champion vs. Catch Wrestler Twice His Size

Little Miyao vs Catch Wrestler

This match is one of the most inspirational and impressive grappling footages probably ever. It’s a style vs style, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu vs. catch wrestling match and also very small guy vs a guy twice his size. Fight happened on Blue Belt jiujitsu.net tournament.

This is a battle of two very different guys. The First one is Will Pursselley. He’s a 25 yr old catch wrestler heavyweight who trains under Erik Paulson. The second guy is Thalison Soares. 17yr old BJJ practitioner, LIGHT FEATHERWEIGHT, with a nick name “Little Miyao”. He really looks like Miyao brothers and he also roll as good as they are for his age. He’s really an extraordinary kid. At the time of this fight last year he was 17 and he already was European, Pan-American, and World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion. This kid is a real prodigy.

In this video we can see Little Miyao dominating his opponent and a lot bigger man in such a fashion that Pursselley was completely hopeless and had nothing to “throw” at little Miyao.

Jiu Jitsu Fighter vs. Russian Karate Fighter

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fighter vs. Russian Karate Fighter

In Russian Amateur MMA league “Arrows Street Fight” we can see what happens when BJJ practitioner fights Russian Karate martial artist.

This fight happened just like in old school Gracie Challenges two styles collide. Although Karate looks better in today’s MMA then many other traditional Martial Arts. As you can see in today’s MMA there are guys like GSP, Stephen Thompson, Lyoto Machida and many others that were training karate before and they use their karate skills as a big part of their MMA fighting.

Let’s check how these two guys will do. One is grappler and other one striker and it’s always an interesting match up to watch.
