Outsized and Tiny Jiu-Jitsu World Champion vs. Catch Wrestler Twice His Size

Little Miyao vs Catch Wrestler

This match is one of the most inspirational and impressive grappling footages probably ever. It’s a style vs style, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu vs. catch wrestling match and also very small guy vs a guy twice his size. Fight happened on Blue Belt jiujitsu.net tournament.

This is a battle of two very different guys. The First one is Will Pursselley. He’s a 25 yr old catch wrestler heavyweight who trains under Erik Paulson. The second guy is Thalison Soares. 17yr old BJJ practitioner, LIGHT FEATHERWEIGHT, with a nick name “Little Miyao”. He really looks like Miyao brothers and he also roll as good as they are for his age. He’s really an extraordinary kid. At the time of this fight last year he was 17 and he already was European, Pan-American, and World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion. This kid is a real prodigy.

In this video we can see Little Miyao dominating his opponent and a lot bigger man in such a fashion that Pursselley was completely hopeless and had nothing to “throw” at little Miyao.
