The guy on video was bullying a girl online until she confronted him in front of the school they both attend, California’s Sonoma Valley High School.
He doused her with water, but he didn’t know she had 6 years of BJJ training in a school that offers MMA training too.
She put her training to the test and it ended up pretty bad for her bully.
While confrontations and bullying between males and females are pretty rare, this girl knew what she was doing and she used it to stand up to her bully.
We don’t encourage anyone to get into a fight, but sometimes you have no other choice, but to face your bully. So, training martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, or any kind of REAL martial art can really save someone in real-life situations if there’s no other way out.
In this situation, it’s hard to tell whether this girl could just go away and call someone for help, as that’s probably the best option in any real-life confrontation, but we can see that she was quite aware of her abilities.
What happened later is that the girl actually ran away probably feeling guilty for what she did. The problem lies in the fact that even if you defend yourself while you’re registered in training martial arts you can be sued for using it. In some countries, martial artists can be charged like they were using cold weapons.
