This is probably the best grappling match in MMA ever.
There is so many attacks, defenses and counters that you can’t see even in real Grappling matches.
Enjoy!

Last MMA fight Renzo had back in 2010 against Matt Hughes where he lost via TKO. He did that fight after three years of pause.
At that time the 43 years old Renzo Gracie was asked afterward if he should have fought an easier opponent than Hughes in his comeback match. But he dismissed that thought, saying, “What kind of fighter would I be if I did that?”.
Now, At the age of 50, dry, at about 80 kilos, Renzo said he awaits a replacement for Matt Hughes (still in a delicate state of health) for the Superfight at the ADCC in Finland in September. In an interview with Fox Sports He said:
“I’ll be back soon. MMA, Of course. Scott Coker made me an offer, One FC too, but I still have a contract with the UFC. I can not divulge either where or with whom, even because I do not know, but after ADCC I will return to MMA.
How smart this desicion is for Renzo we can’t tell but what we can tell is that he really have a heart of a Lion and he’s the real warrior.
Dilon Danis ex Marcelo Garcia’s student is getting into some verbal fights with Tom DeBlas, Garry Tonon, Eddie Cummings, Gordon Ryan… All of this happened after Interview where he called all of them p*ssies.
Tom DeBlass immediately responded that he would like Dillon Danis to tell him that to face and obviously this trash talking got on a new level.
In the latest Interview Dillon Danis called Tom DeBlass, “DeBlasshole”. And we assume that all of these names started with Tonon calling Dillon Danis, Dillon D-anus.
Check out the latest interview with Dillon:

MMA Fighting did an interview with Roger Gracie immediately after he choked Buchecha.
“I told myself if I won, if I do really well here, that will be my career,” he said!
When he was asked about his opinion on that victory and his expectation he said: “It was more. Everything I expect, it was ten times more.”
Even he was a bit surprised with his extraordinary performance this night. But he was also very prepared for this match. Knowing exactly what Buchecha will do in some situations and how to counter it.
Check out the video of Roger Gracie’s post match interview!

Jon “Bones” Jones, former UFC champion and, by many, the best of all times in MMA got promoted to a Blue Belt by his professor No GI World Champion Roberto Alencar from Gracie Barra, New Mexico.
Although we could see Jones in MMA having no problems with Jiu Jitsu guys and he managed to submit 6 of his opponents inside the Octagon and that includes a memorable victory over Lyoto Machida. He Applied a standing guillotine choke that make Lyoto go unconcious.
So here is the question. Why is he only a blue belt? Because Jon and his professor thinks so. His Professor thinks that he needs to learn the principles of jiu jitsu and understand the rules and philosophy. As we can see Jon Jones agree with that. But no matter what’s his belt color we all know how good Jones is and how good his BJJ mechanics are.
So, congratulations Jon on your blue belt, your humbleness and your respectful approach to BJJ.
Jones wrote on his instagram profile @jonnybones:
“It was an honor to receive a blue belt today from my professor @tussagb. Wanted to sincerely thank my family at both @jacksonwink_mma and @graciebarranm for always standing with me, encouraging me, and pushing me to new heights. This week the belt was blue, next week it will be gold.”
Jones pointed to winning a Gold belt as next week on July 29 in Anaheim, Calif he’s fighting against Daniel Cormier for the UFC title. GL Jones!
This fight recently happened in Holland. We can see how calm this Judo guy is and that’s for sure something you get when you’re training martial arts. He didn’t panic even after he got slapped and when his opponent came closer he took him down very easily.
This is a nice “preview” of Grappling Martial Arts. But, from the self-defense BJJ perspective, we can say that this Judo guy didn’t keep the distance as he should.
What would you do? Would you react before or immediately after you’re slapped? Would you keep the distance better? Too many questions there but it’s really hard to act in these situations especially if you’ve never been there before.
