If there’s something unique in Jiu-Jitsu or grappling sports that is Highrollerz promotion and their Cannabis-infused events.

In Highrollerz events, competitors can be seen smoking marijuana, before, after, and even during matches in the breaks between rounds.

For those of us who are used to watching such Highrollerz events, this is nothing new. But, this time, the Highrollerz promotion is taking everything to a new level.

The new Highrolerz event will feature Cops vs. the guys smoking marijuana. We can assume that no matter Marijuana is legal in Las Vegas, Nevada, cops won’t be stoned or seen smoking marijuana, but at Highrollerz events, you never know.

They published news on their Instagram profile saying how they want to celebrate the end of Cannabis prohibition, and in the meantime promote the awareness for Jiu-Jitsu as a non-lethal alternative pointing to the fact that all police officers should learn Jiu-Jitsu.

They also stated that this event will feature active and, of course, sober cops vs Stoned and usual Highrollerz competitors and Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.

For this event, Highrollerz partnered up with @adoptacopbjj organization who’s offering free BJJ training to all cops until they reach the BJJ Blue Belt level.

“We want to celebrate the end of cannabis prohibition while promoting awareness for Jiu-Jitsu as a non-lethal alternative that all police should know but also have the assistance to learn!

We’ve partnered with @adoptacopbjj to bring you this event, which will feature active, sober police in matches against some of High Rollerz’s usual competitors. Cop vs Stoner. Sober vs Stoned. We cannot wait for this event!

Go follow @adoptacopbjj – they are an awesome organization that helps police officers looking to learn Jiu-Jitsu by paying their academy fees until they earn their blue belt. Since police academies don’t teach Jiu-Jitsu, this is up to the officer themselves to find the time and money to her enhance their and everyone else’s safety. We love this cause and we implore those who agree to donate as well”

However, some people training in Jiu-Jitsu will say that Cops vs. Stoners is basically every day at the gym where they train, and that’s probably the truth.
