Gordon Ryan Andre Galvao ADCC 2022

This is a fight we believe all Jiu-Jitsu fans are looking forward to. 4x ADCC medalist Gordon Ryan will Face against 9x times ADCC World Championship medalist including 4x Super Fight wins, Andre Galvao.

Galvao and Ryan will fight according to ADCC super-fight rules. 20 Minutes / 10 Minutes overtime if there is a draw with no advantage. (Max. 2 overtimes per fight)

Given everything that happened between these two ADCC and Jiu-Jitsu stars, it was questionable whether this fight would take place.

From constant fights over Instagram to Gordon Ryan even slapping Galvao, it seems like both Ryan and Galvao still have something to prove to each other.

According to the ADCC Instagram page, the match will take place at ADCC 2022 event as a Superfight.

“Andre Galvao face off against 3X ADCC champion and current double gold champion, Gordon Ryan.”

What we know for sure is there will be a lot more talk around this match, and maybe some slapping too?

It didn’t take much for Gordon Ryan to comment on the post in his style:

“Andre accepted for the base 10k to lose after I smacked him. I should be entitled to 50% of the 990,000 dollars I saved ADCC. I’ll send over my bank details” – Ryan replied on ADCC post

Galvao still didn’t comment on anything, but it’s hard to believe he’ll stay quiet after everything that happened between him and Gordon Ryan, and especially after Gordon Ryan comments which will follow after this announcement.

Anyway, who’s your pick? Who do you think has the advantage under ADCC super-fight rules?
