Bellator’s fighter has obviously and officially become the ‘persona non grata’ of the world MMA scene
As stated by one eminent fighting medium, although he has not been in a real fight for a long time, and especially not against a real opponent, Dillon Danis continues to lose. The fighter who came to the fore a few years ago as a grappling coach and sparring partner of Conor McGregor eventually became the subject of ridicule by the MMA community. We can confirm this after the last episode in a series of his infamous performances. And it happened at a UFC 268 event.
Throughout the week of the event in New York, Danis, who lives in nearby New Jersey, announced his arrival at the event, with a special eye on Michael Bisping. He resented the former UFC champion, and today the promotion employee, some statements and comments, so he announced that he would deal with him as soon as they met. And indeed Danis came there with a ticket that allowed him to get all the way to the Octagon, which we could see on his Instagram posts. But it is interesting that they were all created in the moments when the hall was still quite empty.
Now we know the reason why this is so, that is, why Danis did not share anything from the moments when the main action took place. The reason is that he was removed from the hall during the event. And so he had a meeting with manager Ali Abdelaziz before that, which ended in a slap. We have no reason not to believe when the same is shared by one of the leading MMA reporters, John Morgan from the MMA Junkie portal.
As for Bisping, Danis “tweeted” several times during the evening that their meeting had almost happened, but that Bisping had run away when he saw him. The Englishman initially ignored and then decided to comment anyway, after learning what had happened. He later deleted his post, but the internet remembers.
“How pathetic. People, for your information, Dildo was honestly punched in the face like a bitch, in the backstage of the gym, after which he was permanently removed from all UFC shows. Haha,” Bisping wrote

Danis thus experienced a fate similar to that of Jake Paul, who is also no longer a welcome guest at the world’s largest MMA promotion events. Dana White told him personally. As for Danis, obviously, the UFC president doesn’t have time to deal with such.
Although at the beginning of some grappling results Danis had some respect for his name, he lost it over time. Many say he actually fell the lowest after even Ariel Helwani made fun of him in the last conversation. And that’s something the otherwise very measured and friendly most famous MMA journalist doesn’t do. He treats all fighters with maximum respect. Danis is an exception unless he considers him a fighter at all. In fact, it’s actually a very good question, does it make sense to consider it that way.
