ADCC Head Mo Jassim Creates Formidable Team for AIGA Champions League

Amateur International Grappling Association (AIGA) is kind of martial arts combining the technique of all wrestling discipline.

Mo Jassim has created one of the strongest teams in the tournament “Modolfo Team”, which consist of 8 individuals. All of these fighters are champions from prominent organizations such as IBJJF and ADCC.

Thalison Vitorino Soares, he is a BJJ black belt world champion who competes for the “Art Of Jiu Jitsu” team. He is also a champion in No-Gi in every belt. In the last IBJJF World Championship, he lost to Lucas dos Santos Pinheiro in the final.

Diogo Reis, better known as “The Baby Shark”, is the champion of the ADCC Trials and the ADCC World Championship in the 66kg category.

Fabricio Andrey is a BJJ black belt under Melqui Galvao. He won the IBJJF World Championship in 2021, the IBJJF European Championship in 2023, and placed third at the IBJJF World Championship 2023.

Joao Gabriel Batista de Sousa is BJJ black belt, a world champion, and has achieved second place at the ADCC Worlds. He also secured first place at the No-Gi European Championship.

Dante Leon is a Canadian grappler as well as a black belt in BJJ. He won the IBJJF World Championship NO-GI 2019, IBJJF Pans Championship No-Gi 2018.

Izaak Michell is a BJJ brown belt. He won the ADCC Trials, IBJJF World Championship NO-GI 2021, and competed at the ADCC Worlds 2022.

Giancarlo Bodoni is an American submission grappler and BJJ black belt competitor. A multiple time World, Pan and European championships medalist in colored belts. Bodoni is the Pan NO-GI champion 2021 and the 2022 ADCC World champion in the 88kg division.

John Hansen is BJJ black belt. He is a two-time World Champion (2016, 2017 black belt NO-GI). John has been competing on the World Stage since 2010. He is a World Medalist, PAN champion and multi-time National champion.

The winners will receive the AIGA Champions League shield and a cash prize of $ 50.000, silver place medalist will receive a cash prize of $ 30.000 and each of the four teams that made it to the semifinals will receive a cash prize of $ 10.000.
