The former Strikeforce and UFC champion, Judo bronze medalist, MMA celebrity, and WWE star Ronda Rousey (34) gave birth to her first child yesterday – a baby girl. Rousey and her husband, MMA fighter Travis Browne (39) have named their daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo Browne.
Rousey’s post showcase her daughter underneath her shirt in one photo, and the child’s hand on top of Travis’ arm on another. She captioned the post with just the name of the child.
Browne posted the same photos, captioning them “Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!” Travis has two other children from a previous marriage.

The pair got married in 2017 in Hawaii, where Browne is originally from. This also explains the Hawaiian name of their firstborn child.
In a previous post, Rousey announced that she was eager for the birth of her child by writing “I cannot wait to meet this baby-to see what she’s like, how’s she’s uniquely her, how she’s like me and her dad. I’m dying to see the color of her eyes,” she wrote at the time. “What’s her laugh gonna sound like? When she clears her throat is she gonna do it [the] same way me and my mom do?”
We wish Rousey and Brown and little La’akea all the luck in the world!
