UFC BJJ 10 goes down tonight, Thursday August 20, inside the UFC’s Meta Apex venue in Las Vegas, Nevada — and the promotion has stacked it with two title fights, a flyweight title tournament, and a completely new fighting surface. The No-Gi card streams live and free on YouTube starting at 8 p.m. ET.
It arrives with the promotion in a strong spot. The card comes shortly after the newly expanded UFC and Meta Apex venue launched with a bigger audience capacity, and the matchmaking leans into the momentum with one of its biggest stars on top of the marquee. Credentialed names are scattered from the top of the card all the way down to the undercard.
Two Title Fights Headline The Card
The main event belongs to one of the promotion’s flagship names. Andrew Tackett steps in looking to move to 7-0 and defend his welterweight title for a fourth straight time. Across from him is Jonnatas Gracie — no relation to the famous Jiu-Jitsu family — who is 4-0 under the UFC BJJ and FPI banner. A fourth successful defence would cement Tackett as the clear man to beat at 170, and the unbeaten run is a big part of the promotion’s draw.
The second title bout pits UFC BJJ champion Rebeca Lima against two-time No-Gi world champion Brianna Ste-Marie. It is a match-up of two of the division’s most credentialed competitors, and it gives the card a second belt on the line.
A Flyweight Tournament With Real Stakes
Beyond the title fights, UFC BJJ 10 kicks off a tournament to crown the promotion’s inaugural flyweight champion — and the bracket has drawn real pound-for-pound talent.
ADCC double champion Adele Fornarino and UFC BJJ bantamweight champion Cassia Moura land on opposite sides of the draw. The stakes are high enough that Fornarino has withdrawn from the prestigious ADCC 2026 event to pursue this title opportunity, while Moura is chasing a second division. In the semifinals, Moura meets Bre Stikk and Fornarino faces Carol Brunacio.
For a double champion to step away from the sport’s most prestigious event says something about how quickly UFC BJJ has climbed in the grappling calendar. This tournament is no longer a sideshow; elite names are restructuring their year around it.
A New Bowl Changes The Game
The card’s other headline is the surface itself. UFC BJJ 10 debuts a smaller bowl with steeper walls, a change grapplers will have to adjust to in real time. The thinking is that a tighter surface could force more action and cut down on the resets that have long slowed traditional Jiu-Jitsu mats.
It is a meaningful tweak for a ruleset built around the walls. A smaller, steeper bowl leaves less room to circle away and reset, which should reward pressure and positional control. The walls were already a defining quirk of the format; shrinking the surface and steepening the angle turns them from a boundary into an active factor. How the field adapts on a single night of competition is one of the more interesting questions on the card.
The Rest Of The Card, And How To Watch
The undercard is not an afterthought. Several champions and popular figures are booked — William Tackett, Jalen Fonacier and Danielle Kelly among them — alongside a scrap between Vagner Rocha and Andy Varela that has upset potential.
The full lineup: Andrew Tackett vs. Jonnatas Gracie for the welterweight title; Rebeca Lima vs. Brianna Ste-Marie for the second title; the flyweight tournament semifinals of Cassia Moura vs. Bre Stikk and Adele Fornarino vs. Carol Brunacio; William Tackett vs. Fedor Nikolov; Jalen Fonacier vs. Mourece Ramirez; Vagner Rocha vs. Andy Varela; and Ana Lima vs. Danielle Kelly.
For fans, the access is the story: UFC BJJ 10 is free to watch, live on YouTube from 8 p.m. ET tonight.
