Helena Crevar Becomes The Youngest Women’s Champion Ever
Helena Crevar closed the tournament’s biggest storyline, submitting Anabel Lopez to win the women’s +65kg crown at 19 years old — the youngest women’s champion in ADCC history. The top-seeded American submitted her way through the bracket to claim the record.
Crevar headlined a strong women’s field. Jasmine Rocha submitted Ana Rodrigues to take the -55kg title, and Ana Carolina Vieira defended her -65kg crown by submitting 20-year-old Sarah Galvao with a rear-naked choke in double overtime.
